Board Developed Course (ATAR)
Students with outstanding mathematical ability should consider undertaking the Extension 2 course in Year 12.
This Mathematics Extension 2 course provides opportunities at progressively higher levels for students to acquire knowledge, understanding and skills in relation to concepts within areas of mathematics that have applications in an increasing number of contexts.
PREREQUISITES
Preliminary Extension 1 and Advanced Mathematics courses must have been successfully completed before undertaking Extension 2.
