FRENCH BEGINNERS
Board Developed Course (ATAR)
The French Beginners Stage 6 course is a two-year course, which has been designed for students who wish to study French at senior secondary level. It is intended to cater for students who have no prior knowledge or experience of the French language, or whose experience is derived solely from, or is equivalent to, 100 hours or less study in Stage 4 or 5.
Through this course students learn to appreciate the richness and diversity of the French language and culture.
Students develop the communication skills of listening, speaking, reading and writing in French as they investigate the prescribed topics.
