MATHEMATICS IN TRADE
Board Developed Course (ATAR)
Mathematics in Trade course is a Board Developed Course. Upon successful completion of this course, students will receive the Mathematics Standard 1 credential which will count towards the HSC.
The course focuses on mathematical skills with direct application to everyday activities providing a background for occupations requiring the use of basic mathematical and statistical techniques.
PREREQUISITES
This course is intended for students who have displayed competence in Stage 5.2 or Stage 5.1 mathematics. Students who struggled with Stage 5.1 outcomes may find this course difficult and may be more successful choosing Numeracy as a subject.
