Science courses at Jesmond offer students the chance to gain and apply knowledge, deepen their understanding and develop creative and critical thinking skills within an authentic context.
The courses are designed to prepare students for a future in STEM learning and work places.
Science students will undertake practical experiments to investigate a wide variety of topics, developing the skills to work independently and cooperatively in our laboratories.
Students also participate in a variety of scientific investigations designed to create meaningful links to the syllabus outcomes and their lives beyond the classroom.
