MARINE STUDIES

Marine Studies is a course which allows students to study the sustainability of marine and related environments.
It gives students the opportunity to develop the knowledge and skills to use and protect the unique ecosystems of the oceans and waterways, and communicate this to the community.
The course considers ethical codes towards use of the marine environment, increasingly demanded by the community and governments.
Marine Studies provides both practical and theoretical learning, honing students’ skills to solve real life problems, that fosters links to tertiary study and vocational pathways related to environmental management.
