Jesmond Senior Campus has a number of support classes for students identified with special needs. We have a range of different classes and courses, and a fantastic team of teachers and support staff, led by our Head Teacher, Mr Jeff Riley.
We offer a range of Life Skills classes as well, including Creative Arts, Mathematics, English, Work and Community, Technology and Personal Health and Physical Education Life Skills.
Our students can go on several excursions throughout the year. This may include regular shopping excursions to the local Fruit and Veg markets, a Taronga Zoon visit, a show at the Sydney Opera House and more.
NSW public schools are well prepared to support students with disability and additional learning and support needs and staff are ready to answer your questions.
All schools in Australia must collect information about students with disability each year. It is collected by the NCCD (The Nationally Consistent Collection of Data on School Students with Disability). The information collected assists teachers, principals and governments to better support students at school. For more information see the fact sheet for parents, guardians and carers.
